Manufactured to OE standards, yet priced for the aftermarket, there’s nothing else like A2A

At first glance, A2A exhausts may look similar to any other aftermarket exhaust. However take a closer look and you’ll see that they’re very different, especially once you know what’s inside them and how they’re made.

A2A exhausts use the original equipment exhaust as the benchmark for the aftermarket version. If the original exhaust had a headed wire, oval shaped tail pipe or a perforated baffle, then so does ours. There are no corners cut, just a commitment to developing, testing and manufacturing exhausts that match or exceed the genuine item.

This ethos ensures A2A exhausts:

  • Fit just like the original, without any need for modifications, which saves you time
  • Perform just like the original, generating the correct backpressure and sound
  • Look just like the original, so matching the exhaust being replaced

The result is a range of aftermarket exhausts that provides exceptional performance, value and ultimately satisfaction to your customers.

Emboss & Label

Each exhaust displays A2A logo, UK origin, batch traceability and 3 Year Warranty for quality assurance.

2

Stainless Steel Tail Trims

For strength and longer lasting polished effect (other branded suppliers use a cheaper chroming method, which over time blisters and flakes away).

3

Sacrificial Protection Shield

Protects the silencer when driving over speed ramps.

4

Flanges

Machined cut as OE, with nuts and bolts for easy fit.

5

Hanging Wires

Made to OE spec 8mm, 10mm or 12mm with strengthening wire for stability.

6

Mandrel Bend

Mandrel bent pipes for fully formed tube.

7

Dished End Plates

Strengthen the muffler and reduces sound.

8

Headed Wires

Gives the correct retention within the rubber mounting.

9

Muffler Construction

Welded construction provides strength and integrity of build.

10

Baffle Plates

All baffle plates are made from aluminised steel as per OE (Most exhaust manufacturers use mild steel baffle plates, which will corrode quicker than aluminised).

11

Perforated Baffles/Tube

Ensures smooth gas flow and achieves optimum back pressure and sound level.

12

Biosil Packing

Each pack pre weighed for sound absorption, with immediate and lasting sound reduction (Some manufacturers use packing that is wrapped in plastic, meaning the muffler will sound noisy until the plastic burns away).

13

Strengthening Bar

Supports the internal assembly within the muffler (OE designed strengthening bars are not often used in other branded products).

14

Interrupted Perforated Tube

Ensures correct gas flow and back pressure (prolongs engine life and reduces wear by maintaining back pressure for the system).

The Importance of Backpressure

European legislation has made the exhaust system more complicated than ever. For the catalyst, DPF, sensors and soon SCR to function correctly, the exhaust must maintain the correct backpressure.

An inferior aftermarket exhaust may not create the correct level of backpressure for the originally fitted system. This could damage the highly sensitive components within the system, such as the sensors or DPF. In short, inferior exhausts could cause your customers lots of problems and expense.

A2A exhausts are manufactured to OE standards. They perform just like the original exhaust, generating the correct backpressure for the whole system to work properly. This is what your customer wants.

Manufactured to OE Standards

A2A Exhausts match or exceed the genuine item.

Headed Wires

All A2A exhausts feature headed wires if they were present on the OE exhaust. Headed wires ensure the exhaust fits securely and quickly within the rubber mounting. This prolongs the exhaust lifespan.

Inferior brands will cut corners by using simple turn down wires, which won’t hold the exhaust securely in place. This can cause excessive movement in the exhaust system, causing it to break.

Stainless Steel Tail Pipes

Stainless steel tail pipes last longer and look better, so they’re on all A2A exhausts. Inferior brands have mild steel chrome plated tail pipes, which will blister and flake away over time.

OE Shaped Tail Pipes and End Plates

The tail pipes and end plates on A2A exhausts match those on the OE equivalent. It means your customer gets an exhaust that looks just like the one being replaced. The tail trim and end plate on an inferior exhaust can look completely different to the original.

Fully Aluminised Baffles

Being fully aluminised, the baffles inside A2A exhausts are made to last. In contrast, the mild steel baffles inside inferior exhausts will corrode far quicker.

OE Internal Design

To give the performance, sound, back pressure, fuel consumption and power characteristics of the OE, A2A exhausts follow the internal design of the OE. That means perforated baffles and tubes, correct sized muffler, biosil packing and dished end plates.

To cut corners, inferior brands may use solid baffles and tubes, smaller mufflers cheap packing and flat end plates. The result, an exhaust that doesn’t give the performance, backpressure, fuel consumption or power that the vehicle manufacturer intended.

A Complete Range of Exhausts

A2A exhausts cover the vast majority of vehicle applications. The range is continually updated to reflect the ever changing car parc. Whatever the age, make or model, it’s likely that you’ll be able to give your customer the quality and exceptional value of A2A.
